I liked the proximity to beaches, shopping and airport. The hotel grounds and pool area were very pretty and relaxing. The staff were very helpful and courteous.
I wish there had been a computer available for hotel guests (the wi fi was useless to me as I did not have a portable device). Surely one computer is not too much to ask. Also in my room (a32 or a36) there was something in the roof that would cause a shower of dust / wood to fall onto the bed each day right over the pillow. It was just lucky that my wife had gone home earlier or one of us would have been covered in a mess each morning
Breakfast, room, noisy room
Pendawa Hotel is quiet and relaxing.
Less variety of breakfast. Alot of mosquitos. Need to improve on the wifi. Need wifi in the entire rooms and facilities.
We have been staying in Pendawa for the last 15 years or so. We liked the reasonable price and the location was ok.
Over the years the prices have gone up but are not matched by better service. For the current rates you do not expect a broken soap dispenser, or defective curtains. We noted how noisy the rooms in the second floor were with airplanes of the nearby airport taken off thoughout the night, but worse was the neighbour (foreigner) who had his tv audibly on for 24 hrs a day - indonesian channel (really!) probably to keep his local lady companion happy after their passionate sessions.... In short: time to leave Pendawa and look for one of the more quiet alternatives in the same area. Luckily we found something more to our liking.
The staff service was excellent, there was only one member of staff we weren't overly happy with. The location is central but not overly busy with traffic passing by. A great place for a budget holiday
its location and room rate is suitable for budget/backpackers who like to stay near to Kuta, the city centre and its beaches. It has a quiet environment as it is located slightly off from the busy Kartika Plaza street.
The attached bathroom was not well maintained and looked old
rooms were smelly and very simple breakfast
The hotel room has no phone and bad plumbing and no english tv channel. The breakfast was horrilble and it seems the hotel is just for indonesian guests. Not a good hotel for western tourist and I will never stay there again.Food and drinks were very expensive and not at all good. They have 5 star prices when the hotel is really 1 star.
The hotel is quite lovely, has a cute little pool (but deep which is great with water fountains springing from the mouth of Indonesian statues on the side) in the center and is very close to the beach and city center although very quiet. The staff is very nice except those at the reception who are the most miserable gits ever !
Be very careful with the staff, we have been cunned ! It is a well-known fact that in Kuta if you change money at money changer they count your money in front of you and, - extraordinarily- some money is missing. You count again, being absolutely certain that you had given then the right amount but no; indeed, you did not give them enough. The money changers are experts at subtilising a few bills while you are not paying attention. Well, the same thing happened in this hotel. When we were about to pay the receptionist told us we could not use our credit card and she had us get money from the atm. Then she cunned us of 100.000 rupiah just like in any money changer...:
Friendly staff and the garden with the swimming pool in it is great.
We got what we expected. No surprises. Air conditioning works well, hot water (as well as cold) available. Towels are being changed. Pool exists and is quite clean. Buffet breakfast is just what it can be expected in a 2** hotel.
design of building is a good
the location is in a good spot to shops. the staff friendly and helpful.
The bathroom needs updating. No international t.v only local. reception needs a bit better ambiance.
Location of hotel was near to everything in Kuta. Good pool area and relaxing gardens. Room decent size but basic.
Not enough sunbeds or towels around the pool. Breakfast could be more choice . But ok
